Who we are
t7dy is a live quiz game built for family play. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in method, plus your player name and avatar.
- Gameplay data: scores, answers, round history, and the packs you create.
- Device and diagnostics data: device type, operating system, app version, and crash reports.
- A notification token, so the app can send you notifications.
- Chat messages inside rooms, used to review content and protect players.
- Purchase records: the product identifier and the transaction status from the store.
We do not collect the player's age, we never store passwords in plain text, and we never see your card details.
Children and families
Family play is central to t7dy, and we encourage parents to play alongside their children. If the law where you live requires a parent's consent for a child below the applicable digital age of consent, please do not use the game without that consent — and contact us at any time to delete the data.
How we use data
- Running the game: scores, rooms, packs and leaderboards.
- Protecting play: detecting cheating, abuse or inappropriate content.
- Improving the app: fixing crashes and improving performance.
- Contact: important account messages only, with no marketing email.
Who we share data with
- Cloud hosting: secure servers that store game data.
- Firebase by Google: app notifications and crash reports.
- RevenueCat and the app stores: to validate in-app purchases.
- Legal requirements: where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of players.
We do not sell, trade or share your data for advertising.
Chat and safety
- Automated review of chat messages for inappropriate content.
- Links, phone numbers and external handles are blocked from chat.
- Human review of reports, with the ability to block players who break the rules.
- Report or block any player with one tap.
- A private room is entered only with its room code; public rooms show player names only.
Chat messages are kept for 30 days for moderation and safety, then deleted.
How long we keep data
- Account data: kept while your account is active.
- Round and score history: kept with the account to show progress.
- Chat messages: 30 days.
- Financial transaction records: kept as required by law or the app stores, even after an account is deleted.
When you delete your account your personal data is removed; a limited financial record may remain where the law requires it.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion: delete your account and personal data.
- Portability: request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

Data protection
- Data is encrypted while travelling between your device and our servers.
- Passwords are stored as hashes, never as plain text.
- Internal access to data is limited to the people who need it.
If a data breach could affect you, we notify those affected within 72 hours where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
When something important changes we tell you inside the app and update the last-updated date at the top of this page.
